Gideon ChitayatNon-executive Chairman
Dr. Gideon Chitayat, Non-executive director, is the Chairman and the CEO of GMBS Ltd. Strategic Consulting Firm. He is currently Director of Paz Oil Company, Milissron Shopping Malls, Delta Galil Industries .He served as the Chairman of the Boards of Delta Galil and Honigman Companies. Dr. Chitayat served as Director iv over 20 public companies including Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Israel, Bank Hapoalim, Israel Air Craft Industries.

Dr. Chitayat has provided consultancy services to the CEOs and Chairmen of larger Banks and Global Companies in Business Strategy and Organizational Development.

He holds a Ph.D. and Master degrees in Business & Applied Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Master in Business &Economics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

Dr. Gideon Chitayat joined the Board of BATM in June 2010. Served as Senior Non-Executive Director, and from 2013 as Vice Chairman.
Zvi MaromFounder & CEO
Dr. Zvi Marom is the founder and CEO of BATM. He started BATM in 1992 as a bootstrap and brought it to a world-class company. He holds degrees in Engineering and Medicine. Prior to establishing BATM, he was the head of the Electronic faculty of the Israeli Open University and senior consultant to several industrial and academic institutions. He graduated in excellence from the naval academy and served in combat command posts. He was awarded the Techmark “Technology Man of the Year” award from the London Stock Exchange in 2000.
Avigdor ShaffermanNon-executive External Director
Dr. Shafferman holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has served for the past eighteen years as general manager and Head of R&D of a leading governmental applied research institute specializing in the fields of biology, medicinal chemistry and environmental sciences.

He was a visiting professor in the University of California, San Diego at the biology department as well as a visiting senior research scientist at various leading research institutions in the United States in various medical areas including vaccines.


Mr. Sheldon retired from this position as of 31 December 2014 and was replaced by Dr. Gideon Chitayat as the new Chairman on 1 January 2015. The retiring Chairman was not involved in the selection or appointment of his successor, Dr. Chitayat, whose appointment was discussed and approved unanimously by all the other members of the Board.
Orna PollackNon-executive External Director
Orna Pollack is currently CEO of Galmedics Biotech, a medical device company.

Prior to her current position Mrs. Pollack held senior executive positions, mainly as CEO of biotechnology, Ag-Biotech and medical companies both publicly traded and private. In addition, Mrs. Pollack served as a senior executive consultant for Sysmex Europe GmbH. As CEO of Agrogreen-Minrav, Mrs. Pollack executed a large-scale M&A transaction with Bayer CropScience she holds degrees from the Faculty of agriculture, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
Harel LockerNon-executive External Director
Mr. Locker, aged 50, has over 15 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer, working for prominent firms such as Danziger, Clagsbald & Co. in Tel Aviv and in the tax department for Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York. In 2005, he co-founded Shohat, Locker & Co. in Tel Aviv where he was a managing partner until 2007 when the business was merged with S. Friedman & Co. and Mr. Locker became a senior partner. In 2011 he was appointed the Director General of the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office and head of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s economic headquarters. After serving under two governments, Mr. Locker stepped down from the role shortly after the 2015 election.

Mr. Locker is the sole owner and director of his consultancy and investments company, Pitkrai Investments Ltd, which he established in 2015. Since 2015, he has been a director of Energin .R Technologies 2009 LTD. (NRGENE), a private genomic big data company in Israel that develops computational tools and algorithmic models to facilitate optimal trait discovery for seed companies, animal breeders and academia. Mr. Locker is currently an external director of Matomy Media Group Ltd. (LSE: MTMY).
Moti NagarDirector & CFO
Moti Nagar is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company and joined BATM in 2014.

Previously, Moti held several management positions in Deloitte - Israel. As Senior Manager at Deloitte – Israel, he Interfaced and handled the engagement relationships with leading corporate global clients, including companies traded on the LSE, NASDAQ , TSE and large private companies in the fields of industry, services, energy and holding companies.

Mr. Nagar also led and supported public offerings of corporations in Israel and provided advice in taxation, including international taxation. Mr. Nagar graduated in Business Management and Accounting and qualified as an Israeli certified Accountant (CPA, Israel) in 2008. He also holds a second degree - an MBA in Financial Management from Tel-Aviv University.
Ofer BarnerCOO of Medical Division
Ofer Bar-Ner, COO of Medical Division, joined BATM in 1999. From 1996 he was Chief Financial Officer of Silver Arrow LP, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems and EL-OP, and between 1989 and 1993 he was group manager in the finance department of Elbit. He graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion in Haifa and has an MBA and MA in accounting from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Ariel EfratiCOO of Telecom Division & CEO of Telco Systems
Ariel Efrati is the Chief Operating Officer of BATM, where he oversees BATM’s global business operations and telecommunications practices, and acts as Chief Executive Officer for Telco Systems, a BATM wholly owned subsidiary.

Previously, Ariel held several senior positions in the telecom industry. As Senior Vice President, Ariel led Amdocs (NYSE:DOX) Venture Investments, Open Innovation and Product M&A unit, he headed Amdocs corporate competitive strategy unit, and he was the General Manager of the Service Fulfillment Product Business Division. Ariel also led Amdocs strategic and substantial entry to the OSS markets through organic growth and M&A activities.

Ariel was the CEO of CallmyName, a startup in the Mobile sphere, and is a member of several successful startups’ BoDs, and is highly experienced in technological and market innovations. In the past, as a senior officer, Ariel led an advanced technological unit in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Intelligence Corps.

Ariel is a software engineer and an EMBA graduate of the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University).
