Global OEM Agreement

BATM Advanced Communications Limited ("BATM" or the "Company") (LSE: BVC), a leading designer and producer of telecom systems and medical laboratory diagnostic systems, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Motorola to provide Carrier Ethernet equipment.

Under the terms of the agreement, BATM will deliver Motorola branded products for sale through Motorola's MSO channels to satisfy their needs in the diverse business services and mobile backhaul needs in the Multiple System Operator ("MSO") market. The products to be provided by BATM include aggregation switches/routers and demarcation products.

Joe Cozzolino, senior vice president and general manager, Network Infrastructure, Motorola Mobility, stated:
"The combination of Motorola and Telco Systems provides complete solutions for commercial services that enable cable operators to uniquely leverage their HFC fiber infrastructure while minimising the number of fibers required to provide commercial services. Cable service providers are looking for new and innovative ways to expand their business services offerings including serving the exploding bandwidth requirements in the mobile backhaul market. Our customers can quickly deploy our offerings to help meet these needs in a cost-effective manner."

Dr Zvi Marom, Chief Executive, of BATM, commented:
"Having recently signed a global OEM agreement with the world's largest telecoms vendor we are now delighted to announce this deal with such a major player in the cable market. This agreement with Motorola is further evidence that our award winning products continue to offer the very best in Carrier Ethernet technology."
